Read on for everything you need to know ahead of our biggest event of the year!
What time should I get there?
The doors open at 9am on Friday and 10am on Saturday. The first panel starts at 9:30am on Friday, but you’ll want to get there early to secure a good seat, grab a coffee and listen to our CEO, Olivia Ruello kick things off at 9:15am on the main stage.
Can I only come for one or two sessions?
Yes! You can pop in and out between meetings, come for a half-day or join us for the full two days – it’s completely up to you!
How can I see the speaker schedule?
Check it out here and there’ll be programs at registration as well!
Can I meet the speakers?
Most of the speakers will be available after their session for either book signings or meet and greets. Times and location details will be provided on the day.
Do I need to print my ticket?
Bringing your printed out ticket (check your inbox for your ticket) will make your entry into the expo more seamless, but we can also scan your ticket from your phone on the day.
How do I check-in?
Simply turn up to the entry with your ticket and the Business Chicks team will get you and your guests all checked in. We’ll give you a site map and program so you can find your way around the expo.
Can I grab a coffee there?
100%! There will be many stalls providing coffee throughout the day.
Can I bring my kids?
Of course, children under 15 are free and babies and prams are welcome too!
Are men welcome too?
Absolutely!
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes, you can buy tickets on both days at the door, but it’ll be at a higher flat fee rate. It’s best (and cheaper) to pre-purchase your ticket online or while you’re waiting in the queue.
How do I book for speaker sessions?
Each speaker session is first in, best dressed for seating so make sure you get there early to get a good spot!
Can I sit with my friends during speaking sessions?
You sure can, but we can’t reserve seats so make sure you get there early to find seats together. Seats cannot be reserved between sessions.
Can I become a Premium Member on the day?
Absolutely! Please see Business Chicks staff at the Business Chicks booth on the day to find out more information.
I’ve got a two-day pass, do I register both days?
Yes! Keep your ticket as you’ll need to show it at registration both days.
I can no longer make it, can I give my ticket to someone else, and how?
Yes, absolutely. Make sure you send your ticket onto your friend so they can bring it along on the day. Each ticket is allocated via number not name, so there’s no need to tell us, just give the new person the ticket and that’s it. If you have any concerns you can email us at [email protected].
Will there be food and drinks available to buy at 9 to Thrive?
You betchya! We’ll have several food trucks and a cafeteria with plenty of food and drinks available both days.
Can we take photos at the event?
Yes please! Take as many photos as you like! Feel free to tag us on Instagram @businesschicks and #9tothrive and #businesschicks.
