Really want to attend the Juggle Is Real panel session, but your juggle is so real you don’t think you can make it to 9 to Thrive?

Good news! There is going to be a pop-up crèche at 9 to Thrive in Sydney this year. The good folks at The Green Elephant will be creating a space at the event with their qualified educators to guide your little ones to explore and create. Your children will be able to immerse themselves in the world of The Green Elephant, inspiring their young minds to create, discover and become whoever they want to be for the day.

We will be offering calming and engaging play spaces for children aged 0-5 years. Your child will experience small group activities and interactions with loving and caring educators while you enjoy your time at 9 to Thrive. So you can watch a panel session without trying to amuse a toddler, or indulge in a blow-dry or makeup lesson without needing to rock the pram!

The nitty gritty:

The Green Elephant will have a ratio of six educators to 15 kids per session per day.

The activities on the day will be:

  • Art and craft activities
  • Gardening activities
  • Play-dough and messy play
  • Gross motor activities
  • Quiet area for reading
  • Music and movement

Yes, please!

• Please bring along a comforter if your child requires one

• Please keep your phone on you at all times whilst your child is in our care

• Please let us know in advance if your child has any medical conditions or allergies

• Please bring along a water bottle

• If your child is in undies, please ensure they have gone to the bathroom before coming to play

No, thank you!

• No food or drinks

• No toys except for comforters

• No electronics (this includes iPads)

• We cannot stress the importance of having your mobile phone on you at all times while your child is in our care

• If your child will not settle, we will need to be able to contact you and kindly ask you to come back and collect your child

• In the case of an emergency all our educators are fully trained in first aid

Thankyou’s baby room

9 to Thrive is a kid-friendly, pram-friendly, breastfeeding-friendly space, but to make your lives easier this year, we’ve partnered with Thankyou on a dedicated baby room. It’ll be decked out with free nappies, wipes, hand sanitiser, nappy bins, and couches if you prefer to feed in private. Oh, and there’s space to park your prams safely too.

About The Green Elephant

Established in 2014, The Green Elephant consists of two family owned and operated early learning centres located in Rosebery and Waterloo. Its inception was inspired by our love for family and children and this is what drives who we are and what we do.

As a family ourselves working together, we are passionate about raising the bar in the industry. We simply want to do early learning better, incorporating fundamental principles that are important to us. We are guided by the concept of “family” which is paramount to us and this core value is implemented in every facet of our centres and beyond. Not only are we committed to working in partnership with families to foster a nurturing, child-focused educational and caring environment but we also believe in creating a genuine sense of community and contributing where we can. We work together as a family and as part of a community.

We strive to be the model for exceeding practice. Innovative, motivated and forward thinkers, we never become complacent in our centres. We continuously challenge the status quo, always looking at how we can improve every aspect of our service. We believe our limits are only bound by our imaginations. We think outside the box and even colour outside the lines!
