PANEL SESSION: THE JUGGLE IS REAL

Time: 9:30-10am

Speakers: Justine Cullen, Jessica Rowe & Emma Isaacs

Does balance really exist? How do you do it all? If these two questions make you want to stick chopsticks in your ears, then this is the panel for you. Emma Isaacs, Justine Cullen and Jessica Rowe know what we’re talking about and in this session, we’ll look at why work and parenting is always a juggle, what happens when the wheels fall off, and why no one ever asks how the working dads ‘do it all’.

KEYNOTE:  Dr Libby Weaver, Exhausted to Energised

Dr Libby Weaver is one of Australasia’s leading nutritional biochemists, a seven-time number one bestselling author, an international speaker, and best of all, won’t tell you to give up coffee! In her keynote, she’ll cover the way foods affect our moods, and what changes you can make to bring energy back into your life to take on all those new #goals you’ll be setting after 9 to Thrive.

MELBOURNE / SATURDAY 26 AUGUST

IN CONVERSATION WITH LORNA JANE

Time: 10:30-11:00 am

We all know the term Activewear, but it was Lorna Jane Clarkson who first coined the term way back in 1989. With a background as a fitness instructor, Lorna was frustrated with the uninspiring range of gym wear available on the market. She began sewing her own, and soon grew a following for her custom-made pieces. She now has over 200 stores; we’ll ask Lorna how she built her empire, and how she wants to inspire the next generation to dream big and believe in themselves.

PANEL SESSION: #SELFMADE

Time: 12:00-12:30pm

Speakers: Thessy and Yiota, Sabo Skirt  & Lauren and Lisa Maree, Glamazon

Moderator: Shelly Horton

These four are proof of that your age has nothing to do with your ability to run a successful business. Over 30 minutes, Thessy and Yiota of Sabo Skirt  & Lauren and Lisa Maree of Glamazon talk about why they started their businesses, what they learned since, and why building a business could be the best move you ever make.

IN CONVERSATION WITH: Bonnie Hindmarsh, Lana Taylor

& Erin Cayless, Three Birds Renovation

Time: 1:15-1:45 pm

Moderator: Shelly Horton

Friends for 15 years, the ‘Three Birds’ walked away from their corporate careers three years ago in pursuit of a more fulfilling life. Rather than work long hours to build someone else’s business, they wanted to work shorter hours to build their own. When they started renovating a house, they soon realised they weren’t just building a house, but their own dream lives. They’ll inspire you to do the same.

IN CONVERSATION WITH: Elle Ferguson & Tash Sefton of They All Hate Us

Time: 2:45-3:15 pm

Moderator: Shelly Horton

There are few fashion bloggers who have been able to maintain the cut-through and longevity that Tash & Elle have in the 10 years since they started their blog, ‘They All Hate Us’. What initially started as a tongue-in-cheek daily email of images between the two best friends now boasts over 600K website visits a month and an Instagram following of millions of loyal followers. We’ll ask them how they did it, what lessons they learned and what they’re turning their influence to next.
