Everything Is F*cked: A book about hope by Mark Manson
If there was ever a book you needed right now; it’s this! It’s like Mark had a crystal ball, really. He’s the self-help guru who says the complete opposite of all the other self-help gurus, and in this book he will challenge you to be more honest with yourself. He looks at our relationships with money, entertainment and the internet, and how too much of a good thing can psychologically eat us alive. He openly defies our definitions of faith, happiness, freedom—and even of hope itself.
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life by Mark Manson
This is the self-help book for people who hate self-help books. We’re often told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, fulfilling life, but Mark Manson says, ‘F**k positivity!’. Mark says there are only so many things we can give a f**k about, so we need to figure out which ones really matter – what better a time to work that out than now.
