Harvard Business School professor and social psychologist Amy Cuddy is running a series of workshops in July focusing on how body language affects the way we do business.
For the uninitiated, Cuddy is a game-changer. She’s a world-renowned expert on mastering your body language and building presence and her TED Talk, Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are, has been viewed more than 40 million times, making it the second-most viewed TED Talk ever.
Cuddy’s research shows that assuming powerful positions in the lead up to stressful situations can change hormone levels and, in fact, make people become more powerful.
It’s the first time Cuddy has ever presented in Australia, and in a series of five workshops in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, she’ll will talk through how our body language can affect the judgements we make about ourselves and the way others judge us.
