Cathie is the co-founder of multiple Australian healthcare companies including Icon Group and Epic Pharmacy Group. Icon Group is Australia’s largest dedicated provider of cancer care, operating centres across Australia and in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam and New Zealand, employing more than 3000 people, and last year providing services to nearly three million patients. Epic Pharmacy Group delivers pharmacy services to the hospital and oncology sector from more than 30 locations across Australia.
She has also built and successfully exited two other businesses, a GMP Licensed medication compliance manufacturing business in Australia (APHS Packaging, now known as DoseAid) and a digital health business focused on integrating and aggregating data from disparate clinical systems (Epic Digital).
Cathie’s long term interest in technology driven solutions has also seen her expand her business interests and roles beyond the healthcare sector. She worked alongside the founder of an AI driven fintech product to take the business from concept to listing on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX), and currently serves as Chair of ASX listed sovereign cloud IaaS provider AUCloud. She also serves as Deputy Chair of the Australian Federal Government’s Cyber Security Industry Advisory Committee.
Cathie has won multiple business awards throughout her career, and in 2019 was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for services to healthcare and philanthropy.
