Emily became the first female driver to race in the V8 Touring Car Series last year, competing in the opening round at Sandown raceway finishing in 11th place. She’s nominated for Cosmo’s Woman of the Year in the Sportswoman category.

Sheree is the co-founder of One Roof, the co-working space for women and female-led businesses. She’s a 2017 finalist for the Telstra Victorian Business Women’s Awards in the entrepreneur category.

Alanna Bastin-Byrne and Jade Collins are the brains behind Femecomony, a website which encourages women (and men!) to shop brands with female leaders to create gender equality. They’ve been nominated as a finalist for both the Telstra Business Women’s Awards and Cosmo’s Woman of the Year.

Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Award Winner
Frustrated by the lack of flexibility women face when returning to work after children, Stephanie Reuss and Victoria Stuart kickstarted Beam Australia – a marketplace which matches skilled women looking for part-time and flexible work solutions with corporations looking to invest in the right talent. They picked up the Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year at the Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards. Congratulations!

Telstra Queensland Entrepreneur Award Finalist
Ali Hill is a psychologist, speaker, and co-founder of Pragmatic Thinking, a behaviour and motivation strategy company. She’s also the author of Stand Out: A real-world guide to get clear, find purpose and become the boss of busy. We absolutely love her podcast, Stand Out Life – she’s interviewed our own Emma Isaacs and Olivia Ruello along with a killer mix of celebrities, female sports and media personalities, and women in business.

Caroline McCulloch
Telstra Queensland Entrepreneur Award Finalist
Caroline McCulloch is owner and designer of FRANKiE4 footwear. With a background as a podiatrist and physiotherapist, she found it difficult to recommend practical footwear that she would want to wear. In 2011, she launched two styles and now has over 20 styles and over 90 stockists in Australia and New Zealand, as well as via an online store and two concept stores in Brisbane.

Justine Flynn
Telstra Victorian For Purpose and Social Enterprise Award Finalist
Justine Flynn is the co-founder of trailblazing social enterprise Thankyou, which now includes water, nappies, wipes and body care products. The company donates funds to safe water, hygiene and sanitation programs, and food security programs in 16 countries.
