It’s the most wonderful time of the year …

No, not Christmas, it’s International Women’s Day and we are so excited to be celebrating it with you.

In 2021 we brought together 3000 women across the country and in 2022 we promise we’re taking it to another level (we don’t have the exact number of levels calculated just yet, but from our rough estimations it’ll be at least 500 levels of amazingness added on from last year).

Author and highly sought-after speaker, Kemi Nekvapil, feminist and human rights activist Khadija Gbla and proud Wiradjuri and Wailwan woman, lawyer and storyteller, Teela Reid, will be hitting the stage to share all their wisdom. There will be book signings, meet + greet with speakers and a few surprises, too.

So be sure to book your tickets ASAP because these seats get snapped up quick-fast!

Golden rays, golden gaytimes and now golden tables; we say if you’re going to do something, make it golden (ok, we’ve never said that but let’s go with it 😉). For an additional $100 per person you will receive these golden additions:

  • A copy of Lisa’s book for everyone at the table
  • Premium positioned table closer to the front
  • Table signage if you’d like to be a bit extra and show off your company to the room

Making this event COVID safe for you all is our number one priority.

In line with the Victorian Government’s COVID regulations*, in order to attend the event you must show proof that you’re fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or otherwise produce this medical exemption to COVID-19 vaccination. From Friday 12 November 2021 the DHHS Exemption form is the only accepted medical exemption documentation to enter the Crown Melbourne venue. Please complete the DHHS Exemption form prior to attending the event. It is strongly suggested that you also support this documentation with a medical certificate.

During this time when we need to be working together and remain connected, Business Chicks wants to assure all members of our community we are taking the utmost care and precautions for our events and gatherings in light of COVID-19.

The Business Chicks team is working extremely closely with our venues, suppliers, contractors and everyone involved with our events to protect the health and wellbeing of our community – you are our top priority. Of course, we will update you if any changes come up.

*COVID regulations as announced 12 November 2021. Attendees will be updated if regulations change.
