I strive to be one of those stories – you know the one: “She started out working from a room at home … ” (I am still there by the way, although using three rooms now)! After 18 years’ experience as airline cabin crew and a love of shoes and international travel, I created Louise M Shoes, specialising in cabin crew and corporate women’s shoes.
The message that Business Chicks promotes about how achieving your goals and dreams is possible – just look at the Global CEO Emma Isaacs’ achievements – is exactly what I need. And my motto is NEVER GIVE UP! It was the message Turia Pitt signed in the book when I saw her speak at a Business Chicks event. It helps me push through any business challenge.
