It’s a pivotal time for women, but we mustn’t be complacent. Now is the time to #pressforprogress – the theme for International Women’s Day in 2018.
Join us to celebrate the most important day of the year. We’ve brought together three phenomenal Australian women to share what Press for Progress means to them. Join us for this really special lunch hosted by Yumi Stynes to raise a glass to women everywhere and be part of a discussion about what comes next.
Surround yourself with the energy of hundreds of people who want the world to be a good one for women and help us support The Brotherhood of St Laurence Stepping Stones program on the day too.
Gather your girlfriends, host your clients, surprise your team or come alone. Don’t miss this pillar event – it’s a sell-out every year!
The powerful lineup
Gillian Triggs is the former President of the Australian Human Rights Commission. She is resolute in her fight for protecting the world’s most vulnerable. She wants women to be a little less polite and challenge more openly and strongly than ever before.
Yumi Stynes knows how to get women talking and is not afraid to dive head first into the topics we tend to avoid. She’s worked in media for two decades, is a master juggler and knows the power of a good belly laugh.
Dr Anita Heiss does a lot of good. She is a Wiradjuri woman, a brilliant author and she wants to help people understand the diversity and reality for Indigenous Australia in the 21st Century.
A huge thank you to Carousel for hosting this event!
