"Start the day with a smile and end it with champagne."

Oh hey, I'm Rachelle, a 30 something business owner, wine and cheese lover and all around creative provocateur. I'm originally from Toronto, Canada and moved to Paris, France in search of a little je ne sais quoi in 2014. I lived there for 2 years, which is where I created my own business, Saevil Row. As adventure would have it, I found my way to Sydney in 2016 and the rest is history! I love chatting business and connecting with women who inspire and delight.

My work life blend

Why are you a Business Chicks member?

One word: Community. I love connecting with like-minded people and this is a great platform for just that.

What's been the biggest pinch-me moment of your career?

Creating a business and life that truly lights me up and make a difference in the lives of my clients.

How do you deal with setbacks, failures and fear?

Embrace them, because there's no other path forward than facing fear and failure straight on.

What's the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Jump with both feet in. Nothing ever came from staying in your comfort zone.

Which women inspire you and why?

I know it's cliché to say my mom, but she does. From her difficult childhood to facing adversity, she's always been true to who she is and what she believes. I'm fortunate to have some incredible best friends who constantly inspire me and above all, support me in this journey.

What's been the biggest challenge you have faced and how did it help shape who you are today?

I moved to Paris without knowing anyone or having a job. It was a beautiful challenge in itself, wanting to do this on my own. It's strengthened my resilience and taught me to never give up on something I truly want.

What are you really good at? (We know this one's hard, you guys! As women, we tend to talk about what everyone else is good at. But now it's your turn.)

I'm really good at listening and turning ideas into reality with the clients I work with. I'm also pretty dang good at cheese platters... just saying.

What makes you happy?

What's your definition of success, and how will you know when you've got there? (Go on, aim high!)

Oh gosh, this is a hard one because for so long I've defined success with a $$ figure. But success to me is an apt in Paris, a home in Australia and Canada and a loving family that supports my crazy, wild dreams.
