My work life blend

Why are you a Business Chicks member?

Because being a BC member is seriously the best! plus loads of benefits.

What's been the biggest pinch-me moment of your career?

How do you deal with setbacks, failures and fear?

Setbacks are always challenging but a great leader once told me if you can train yourself to have a solutions mindset it will help you become more optimistic

What's the best piece of advice you have ever received?

The only person who can get you to where you want to be is you. If your not cheering yourself on then who will. You need to believe in yourself and are passionate about what you are doing there is nothing to stop you from succeeding.

Which women inspire you and why?

~Elle Roseby, GM of Country road, i have worked with Elle for 5years and throughout my time working for her even though we didn¢??t get much touch time i learnt how to be a great leader. Elle is someone who makes time for her people even if she is flat out she will always take the time to make sure her people are ok and feel valued. Elle is the type of leader that can walk into a room and you can feel her warmth and presence. ~Emma Isaacs , wowser where to begin with the amazing Emma. Mumma to 5 owner of business chicks , a writer. The strength and resilience I¢??ve read in Emma¢??s books have taught me to much and opened up my thoughts in to how i live my life and work and balance life.

What's been the biggest challenge you have faced and how did it help shape who you are today?

What are you really good at? (We know this one's hard, you guys! As women, we tend to talk about what everyone else is good at. But now it's your turn.)

Getting the best out of people and getting them to shape their mindsets in a positive way to get the best out of life.

What makes you happy?

Seeing my friends and co workers achieve goals , achieving the personal goals that i set myself.

What's your definition of success, and how will you know when you've got there? (Go on, aim high!)

For me it important to remember to reflect to see how far you have come wether it be a big win and success or a little win. A win is a win and we need to be celebrating all wins so we can feel a sense of accomplishment.
