"'Nothing changes if nothing changes.'"

I'm a recovering multi-tasker who can talk about marketing, business and new ways of doing things for days. By day, I work with small business owners to uncomplicate their marketing and help them to better understand their business. By night, I work with 3 children and a husband to keep them healthy, fed, loved and prepared for the next day.

My work life blend

Why are you a Business Chicks member?

BC bought Mark Manson to Adelaide and I wanted to see what it was like to be part of this community.

What's been the biggest pinch-me moment of your career?

I don't feel I've had a true 'pinch-me' moment yet.

How do you deal with setbacks, failures and fear?

They used to create negative self-talk and make me doubt my abilities, now I see them as what I need to experience and learn from.

What's the best piece of advice you have ever received?

If you really want to help people, 'telling' them what they need to do won't work. You need to ask great questions so they come up with the answers themselves.

Which women inspire you and why?

Women who are living true to their values, are not afraid be seen, and challenge the norm.

What's been the biggest challenge you have faced and how did it help shape who you are today?

A failed business that re-inforced just how much I want to be a business owner and put me on the path to more learnings and growth.

What are you really good at? (We know this one's hard, you guys! As women, we tend to talk about what everyone else is good at. But now it's your turn.)

Looking at a business and seeing possibilities that others can't see. I can take an idea and map out the actions that are needed to make it happen.

What makes you happy?

Learning and seeing my children enjoy learning.

What's your definition of success, and how will you know when you've got there? (Go on, aim high!)

Success to me is creating the life that I want to live where I am always learning and evolving. It is waking up looking forward to new opportunities and challenges. That's what I'm doing now, so I suppose I'm already successful.....there's just more I want to achieve and experience.
