Breaking away and successfully running my own business

Which women inspire you and why?

everyday women, special needs mums and my business coach, Julie Piantadosi. Also, my salon was named for my grandmothers, Matriarch, because they were such an inspiring and motivating influence in my life.

What's been the biggest challenge you have faced and how did it help shape who you are today?

Taking a leap of faith to break away from a large group. It was the scariest thing, but the most rewarding and satisfying thing.

What are you really good at? (We know this one's hard, you guys! As women, we tend to talk about what everyone else is good at. But now it's your turn.)

looking after peoples needs and making it about them. . As a hairdresser, a boss, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister.

What makes you happy?

What's your definition of success, and how will you know when you've got there? (Go on, aim high!)

freedom to step away from the business because I have such great people who share my philosophies and "why".
