"How you do anything, is how you do everything."

I am an accomplished sports performance professional, sports therapist, inventor and business entrepreneur, and currently the Founder and CEO of MOBOT. MOBOT is an established leader in the health and wellness industry and based in LA. A revolutionary fitness product, MOBOT was the first to patent the combined foam roller and a reusable, environmentally sustainable water bottle. With a call for society to be more conscious and sustainable, MOBOT not only answered, but delivered with an innovative product that teaches society to constantly reimagine their perspective, their well being and a healthier planet. Ever the thrill seeker, my other extra-curricular activities include being a water-ski instructor, a professional speaker, and a kids rugby coach. In 2016, while recovering from traumatic sports injury that left me catatonic, I uncovered a new hobby that I have personally used to retrain and enhance my cognitive brain and memory skills. Using humor as medicine, you can safely say that I approach all things with grit and optimism. Turning comedic relief into a fully-fledged pastime activity, I accidentally discovered I enjoyed the adrenaline rush of being a stand-up comedian, and am now a regular fixture at the legendary The Comedy Store.

My work life blend

Why are you a Business Chicks member?

To connect and learn from like minded women.

What's been the biggest pinch-me moment of your career?

Winning a many year, and expensive legal battle with infringers on our patents! I cried!

How do you deal with setbacks, failures and fear?

I take a time out, turn to mentors and try to fail forward, Most of my failures had lead to my biggest growth opportunities, so I always try to reframe or reposition my situation. And then never give up - take a break, breathe, but dont quit!

What's the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Be resourceful and know your values! You have got to hustle and collect data, it takes time and grit, stay true to you!

Which women inspire you and why?

Ruth Badger Ginsburg, Gloria Allred, Gloria Steinem - they fought for what they beloved in and it changed women lives and rights all over the world. They inspire me to never stop believing we can make a difference.

What's been the biggest challenge you have faced and how did it help shape who you are today?

One of my biggest challenges was when I suffered a traumatic brain injury just 3yrs into my business and was catatonic - recovering from that and saving my company while in that state was huge!

What are you really good at? (We know this one's hard, you guys! As women, we tend to talk about what everyone else is good at. But now it's your turn.)

I am good at thinking outside the box and problem solving. I love connecting with people and uncovering what is blocking them from achieving their goals! And anything mental health xx

What makes you happy?

Seeing people overcome something, or having a break through that empowers them! I am my happiest when I get to speak, teach or inspire others to believe they can too!

What's your definition of success, and how will you know when you've got there? (Go on, aim high!)

Having hope! and feeling proud of yourself no matter what, knowing I tried my best. Success in my personal relationships, community and connections to help people! I am there everyday in one way or another, if not I will find a way to make someones day better before bed, even if it is just a smile or message
