"Prepare to ask great questions. They always generate great insights."

My skill set is extremely varied and I thrive in challenging environments and projects. During my many years in marketing, advertising and management I have learnt to adapt to the changing face of business while always looking for a new way of developing leaders and teams. My core skills include strategic positioning, coaching and mentoring, organisational change. critical alignment and accountability, behavioural profiling, creative thinking, idea generation, online marketing, branding, communication and management. Outside of work I have my pupper, Darcy Charles, to keep me extra busy. He is also a great listener!

My work life blend

Why are you a Business Chicks member?

I joined to network with like minded women and generate interesting conversations and connections.

What's been the biggest pinch-me moment of your career?

There has been many of them. I think the biggest is when I realised my true desire to help develop people to achieve positive and lasting results.

How do you deal with setbacks, failures and fear?

Get on with it and take action. Courage turns up when we need it.

What's the best piece of advice you have ever received?

If you have trust and faith in yourself, then others will to.

Which women inspire you and why?

All women inspire me. We are incredible!

What's been the biggest challenge you have faced and how did it help shape who you are today?

The death of my husband from Lewy Body Disease was certainly the biggest challenge. It forced me to realise I was stronger than I thought, more capable than I believed and that life is way to short to stuff about.

What are you really good at? (We know this one's hard, you guys! As women, we tend to talk about what everyone else is good at. But now it's your turn.)

I am really good at being curious, asking questions and admitting 'I don't know'.

What makes you happy?

Watching my puppy dog running freely around the yard. The sheer joy he has!

What's your definition of success, and how will you know when you've got there? (Go on, aim high!)

Being on stage delivering a keynote to an attentive, interested, packed audience.
