""Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it""

Throughout my life I've asked myself to be better than the day before. My purpose is "to empower us to embrace our unique potential". I believe each of us can achieve anything we set our mind to. I believe it's never a lack of resources, but of resourcefulness holding us back. With an empowered why, passion, commitment & focus we can each experience the extraordianary.

My work life blend

Why are you a Business Chicks member?

To be inspired, learn & connect.

What's been the biggest pinch-me moment of your career?

I got really clear myself on what my dream job looked like. The role/team didn't exist within the company but I knew it would add huge value if it did. I pitched the idea to the management team, they saw my dream & made it happen. I now lead that dream team & we are absolutely smashing it.

How do you deal with setbacks, failures and fear?

Gratitude. I am grateful for all the challenges I've faced & those yet to come; they have shaped me to be who I am today & will support me becoming a better leader tomorrow. I know that if I'm not failing I'm not innovating enough. I named 2019 the year of F*** Fear & face my fears front on, with courage and kindness.

What's the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Know your outcome & focus on the 3 S's State, story, strategy in that order. So often we try to approach strategy first and get frustrated when that strategy fails. By getting super clear on what you want, putting yourself in state, knowing your why, rewriting limiting beliefs your bound to succeed.

Which women inspire you and why?

I'm inspired everyday by women pushing out of their comfort zones.

What's been the biggest challenge you have faced and how did it help shape who you are today?

Overcoming many years in & out of depression. I truly appreciate the power of the human brain, my own strength & potential to choose my story. My experience of darkness makes me truly appreciate the light. It's made me committed to fight stigma and support others through their dark times.

What are you really good at? (We know this one's hard, you guys! As women, we tend to talk about what everyone else is good at. But now it's your turn.)

I see the world in patterns which helps me spot opportunities and problem solve.

What makes you happy?

Yoga, travel, wine, great food and close family & friends. Also helping people understand their worth

What's your definition of success, and how will you know when you've got there? (Go on, aim high!)
