My work life blend

Why are you a Business Chicks member?

I love being part of a group of women that want to support and develop other women. I'm a huge fan of what Emma Isaacs has built and also how she has built it.

What's been the biggest pinch-me moment of your career?

The reaction to UNE PIECE's first season. The emails I receive from women telling me how much something I've created is making a positive difference in their life. Making them feel beautiful and more confident. It makes my heart smile.

How do you deal with setbacks, failures and fear?

Often setbacks or challenges are really highlighting areas that you need to improve or find a new way of working. This has absolutely been the case time and time again with UNE PIECE. When something goes 'wrong' now - I take a deep breath, I decide what it is I really want to happen and give it 24-48 hours. It is amazing what happens in that short window of time.

What's the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Don't change yourself for any person or any business. Be yourself at all times.

Which women inspire you and why?

Women who live with purpose and with kindness.

What's been the biggest challenge you have faced and how did it help shape who you are today?

What are you really good at? (We know this one's hard, you guys! As women, we tend to talk about what everyone else is good at. But now it's your turn.)

I make stuff happen. I'm passionate about leading teams, strategic problem solving and all things creative.

What makes you happy?

My family, my husband, my son, sunshine, time with friends, cooking, yoga, travel, reading. Ideally eating seafood in the sunshine, drinking good white wine with wonderful family and friends.

What's your definition of success, and how will you know when you've got there? (Go on, aim high!)

Being a happy, successful, kind and compassionate Mother and Business owner. Having work life harmony.
