My work life blend

Why are you a Business Chicks member?

I love what Business Chicks stands for and like the idea of connecting with other likeminded women in business.

What's been the biggest pinch-me moment of your career?

I have had too many to mention. My career has taken me all over the world and I have been given the opportunity to work with inspiring thought leaders and change makers from all over.

How do you deal with setbacks, failures and fear?

Yoga and Meditation. I find the more I am connected with my inner self, the better I am able to deal with any challenges.

What's the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Life is simple. Everything happens for you not to you.

Which women inspire you and why?

My Mother, she is a very talented Art Therapist who recently moved to Spain to work with travellers on the Camino. She follows her intuition wherever it takes her.

What's been the biggest challenge you have faced and how did it help shape who you are today?

My husband and I are both very entrepreneurial and as such have had our fair share of business failures. We started a food concept that received amazing press but simply did not take off. It made me realise true success lies in the product not just the story.

What are you really good at? (We know this one's hard, you guys! As women, we tend to talk about what everyone else is good at. But now it's your turn.)

I feel my strongest asset is the ability to build meaningful relationships. I genuinely care about offering value to anyone I do business with.

What makes you happy?

My family, Nature, Yoga, a great book and friends.

What's your definition of success, and how will you know when you've got there? (Go on, aim high!)

For me the definition of Success is living authentically. As much as I love the best the material world has to offer (especially designer shoes!), life has shown me that all the money, fame and success in the world means nothing if you are not living and loving authentically.
