My work life blend

Why are you a Business Chicks member?

I am passionate about supporting women to thrive in business, leadership and entrepreneurship. I run a business that supports women. Business Chicks is the perfect community for me to connect to.

What's been the biggest pinch-me moment of your career?

Quitting my stable, financially secure, reputable job and career as a corporate law to become an entrepreneur.

How do you deal with setbacks, failures and fear?

Most of the time when I feel fear I know it is a good sign because it means I am out of my comfort zone and I am learning and growing. I embrace setbacks and failure. They are an important part of the journey of success. Failures always eventually become great stories to tell!

What's the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

Which women inspire you and why?

Dr Catriona Wallace, founder and CEO of artificial intelligence company, Flamingo. She is the CEO of an ASX listed company that is the second in ASX history to have a female CEO and chair. She is real about her journey of juggling being a mum and a business owner and she elevates women around her. She is a true leader. Kaitlin Tait, cofounder of Spark* International and leads the accelerator team at YGAP also inspires me because she works tirelessly to create a positive impact for entrepreneurs living in developing countries.

What's been the biggest challenge you have faced and how did it help shape who you are today?

Working out the difference between opportunity and distraction. It has helped me to gain clarity on when to say no and having some clear long term goals.

What are you really good at? (We know this one's hard, you guys! As women, we tend to talk about what everyone else is good at. But now it's your turn.)

Connecting meeting and understanding people and curating experiences that nurture, educate and support women.

What makes you happy?

Supporting women and seeing them thrive

What's your definition of success, and how will you know when you've got there? (Go on, aim high!)

Impacting millions of women around the world with access to office space, business support and funding.
